Pakse Hotel & Restaurant was the first building constructed under the supervision of King Chao Boun Oum, the last ruler of Champasak, in 1962. In 2003, a total renovation was completed which updated the property to international standards in terms of accommodation, catering and services while still keeping its amenities and facilities.
