Located in the heart of Luang Prabang City, Villa Maly Boutique Hotel is only a few steps away from the main historical attractions and all the lively things the city. The original building (now housing the lobby and bar) was built in 1938, and was once the residence of Princess Khampieng and Prince Khamtan Ounkham, grandson of the 19th century’s King Zakarine.
The Villa Maly Luang Prabang Hotel has five buildings, a lush abundant tropical garden and a swimming pool with comfortable chaises longues. All 33 rooms are tastefully designed with the mix of French and British colonial décor, furnishing with wooden parquet floors, armoires, and classic fans. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a laptop-sized safe, and tea/coffee making facilities. The en-suite bathroom has shower facilities.
Villa Maly's restaurant, Le Vetiver is a bright garden restaurant that serves a wide range of western and local favourites, including a traditional Sindat (Lao BBQ & Hot Pot). Guest can unwind with light snacks and cocktails at Maly Bar. Rejuvenate yourself at the two-table poolside spa, where two therapists practice time-honored spa techniques. Boasting a charming elegance and luxury, this hotel is a haven of privacy and tranquility that invites guests to a journey of relaxation after a day of busy sightseeing.
