What you are gonna do

    Start the day with a trip aboard a long-tail boat. Move away from the high rises of the city and venture through the quiet canals upon which the city was originally built. Return to the main waterway, the Chao Phraya River, to visit Wat Arun, meaning ‘Temple of the Dawn’. Then cross the river and take a short walk to the Grand Palace, perhaps Thailand’s best known site.

    Enjoy lunch with delicious Thai food with fabulous views in a riverside restaurant. Then carry on to Wat Saket, a tranquil temple in the city centre. Enjoy amazingly beautiful views of the Rattanakosin neighbourhood from this elevated viewpoint.

This remarkable temple is unique in that it fuses Thai style with European architecture and is built entirely of Italian marble.
