What you are gonna do

    This afternoon meditation course at Wat Mahathat, one of Bangkok’s most important meditation centres and its first Buddhist university, is a chance for you to forge a closer connection with the Buddhist culture. Being greeted by one of the monks who will introduce the day’s activities and explain his own personal experience with meditation.
  • 02

    The course is based on the Buddha’s four foundations of mindfulness: mindfulness of body, feelings, mind and dhamma. After learning the basic principles of meditation, then take some time to practice alongside the locals.
  • 03

    Feel calm and centred, and with a great understanding of Buddhist meditation practices, bid farewell to the monks and return to the hotel.
