At Asia Senses Travel we’re adventurers at heart. Our journeys are all about discovering new places and cultures while creating unforgettable memories through physical activity and breathtaking scenery.
Laos Pandaw was launched in November 2015 and is currently the only ship sailing on the Upper Mekong River and visiting the three countries of the Golden Triangle (Laos, Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) and China. The 131-foot long ship can accommodate 20 passengers, provides an intimate experience with personalised service to match.
The secret of our success is that on the ships, whilst luxury and comfort are discreetly present, it is the colonial character and friendly atmosphere that predominate. With 10 cabin, our RV Laos Pandaw Cruises have ultra shallow drafts and can travel to remote areas, which would be unreachable by other vessels, let alone overland. Traditional ways of life on the river are brought to life and present a fascinating contrast to Laos’ up and coming capital, Vientiane. Luang Prabang is a city of contrasts, with its faded Buddhist temples now being transformed thanks to international funding, set in surroundings still bearing the architectural hallmarks of its French colonial past.
