One of Thailand's many beautiful islands, Koh Kood (also known as Ko Kut) is located off Thailand's east coast and near the border with Cambodia. For regular visitors to the island, it is approximately five hours by land from Bangkok and another two hours by boat, making Koh Kood one of the country's more remote destinations. However, guests staying at the luxurious resorts on the island, can fly into a private airstrip on a private charter plane from Bangkok. With its crystal-clear waters, immaculate white beaches, and swaying palms, Koh Kood is, for now, free of the tourist crowds common to other islands.
