At Asia Senses Travel we’re adventurers at heart. Our journeys are all about discovering new places and cultures while creating unforgettable memories through physical activity and breathtaking scenery.
Manado, the wealthiest city in Sulawesi, is fairly cosmopolitan, well serviced and friendly place, with a decent selection of comfortable hotels and an excellent dining scene to get your bearings and stock up on what you need before striking out. Manado and the Bunaken National Marine Park nearby are also famed for its incredible diving, with some of the world’s most spectacular and accessible coral reefs located anywhere. This is despite the fact that appearances do deceive, as it doesn’t immediately register as one of North Sulawesi’s highlights, with its overabundance of shopping malls and cavernous holes in the sidewalk. Adventures lie nearby around the city at Tomohon, the Lembeh Strait and Tangkoko - Batuangas Dua Saudara Nature Reserve; to get to these places most travellers will have to spend a night or more in Manado.

Best Time to Visit Manado
The best time to visit Manado is from March until January of next year, of which June, July, August, September and October are the top months. In December the rainy season starts and there is more chance of not as good weather. Mostly not as good weather does not last long, leaving enough opportunities to go diving.
