Holiday Types

At Asia Senses Travel we’re adventurers at heart. Our journeys are all about discovering new places and cultures while creating unforgettable memories through physical activity and breathtaking scenery.

Visit yangshuo

Yangshuo is one of China's gold-ticket draws. Resting beside the Li River, it is ideally placed to enable visitors to explore the strikingly beautiful countryside of Guangxi Province. The town itself is very laid back and the mix of small western-style cafes - with good, inexpensive local food - offers a relaxing respite. Many visitors prefer to explore Yangshuo and its scenic beauty by bike, which can be arranged easily. A walk around the town is also enjoyable.

Come evening, West Street (Xi Jie) is all thumping music and bristling with selfie-sticks, but go up a few flights to a hotel rooftop bar and behold the ethereal beauty of the surrounding karsts, their peaks lit up by searchlights.

Cycling-in-the-Yangshuo-countryside

Cycling in the Yangshuo countryside

Cycling in the countryside is one of the best ways to embrace and immerse yourself in Yangshuo's scenery. Spring, when the fields are blanketed by yellow flowers, and autumn, when the golden rice paddies wow you, are the best times for cycling.

Climb-the-Moon-Hill

Climb the Moon Hill

Moon Hill is a top place to have a bird's view of Yangshuo's countryside. Its natural stone arch attracts master climbers. Legendary American climber Todd Skinner bolted the first route, a 5.13 climb called "Moonwalker" traversing the underside of the arch, in 1992. Now there are 15 routes, eight on the arch wall, two traversing the arch, and four between cliff and arch, with different elevations. Above average climbers will like it there.
