After that, leave this bustling city for the Bolaven Plateau
, one of southern Laos' most attractive destinations, home to dozens of hill tribes, waterfalls and beautiful tea/coffee plantations. En route, take visit to the beautiful Tad Fane and Tad Yuang waterfalls, two of most beautiful waterfalls on Bolaven Plateau. Rainy season (from May to September) is the best time to visit these mighty and beautiful waterfalls.
We also make a stop for short break in PAKSONG
before heading to Sinouk Coffee Resort, a typical Lao style lodge, offering a unique experience to visitors among coffee trees and French-style gardens. Here, a local guide from the resort will lead a soft trek through the coffee plantation. Spend your time to observe all the stages of coffee processing from the beginning as seed, young tree until transplanted into coffee plantation areas. Enjoy your lunch at the resort’s Le Bistrot restaurant. The vegetables which are used for dishes, come from the resort’s organic garden.
After lunch, sample some different types of coffee before driving back to Pakse. On the way back, it is possible to make stops to visit the famous Tad Lo waterfalls and the Katu village of Ban Houay Houn. Here, you can buy unique Katu textiles with the motifs are created by a series of beads woven in on the weft thread.
Upon arrival back to Pakse, you will be transferred to the hotel.
