Day 1: Hanoi - Mu Cang Chai
Set off your Tour to Mu Cang Chai in this morning for the scenic drive (approximately 6.5 hours), following the national way – No.32 to Nghia Lo district of Yen Bai province, located in the mountainous area northwest of Hanoi. Shortly after leaving the city behind, the scenery starts to take on an altogether different look with endless stretches of farmland and hills and mountains looming in the distance. Stop then have a lunch in local restaurant in Nghia Lo, before we keep driving up to Mu Cang Chai.
Descend along a steep mountain road into the beautifully picturesque Mu Cang Chai inhabited by Thai ethnic minority. Check in our stilt-house homestay, then end the day with a walk to visit a peaceful village surrounded by spectacular karst rock formations and rice paddies nearby. Dinner and spend the night in Mu Cang Chai.
Note: Depending on the day of the week, visit Mai Chau Market and Van Village. If itinerary to Mai Chau town coincides on a Sunday, then a visit to the weekly market in the village of Xa Linh is recommended.

Day 2: Mu Cang Chai - Tu Le
After simple breakfast this morning, be transferred the day’s trekking point. Spend the whole day to trek and enjoy Vietnam’s national rice terrace heritage. Our trek will start from Che Cu Nha to La Pan Tan and De Xu Phinh Rice Terrace Fields of Hmong people where were recognized the national landscapes of Vietnam in 2007. It is around 13 km and takes most of our day. This trek will definitely offer you a photography opportunity to capture the beautiful pictures of the main spots and admire the beauty that Mu Cang Chai has to offer. Enjoy picnic lunch on the way.
Around 4.00 PM, get picked up by your driver then conquer a 40 km transfer back to town of Tu Le. The visit to this place offers admirable and imposing landscapes of mountains and valleys, and the beautiful rice terrace fields. Check into hotel before dinner. Stay for the night in Tu Le.

Day 3: Tu Le - Nghia Lo - Suoi Giang Ecopark - Hanoi
After the breakfast, embark on a short walk to Tu Le Valley where we can enjoy the morning breeze, view the rice paddy fields and the daily life of villagers. Spend time to explore with your guide the local life around the town. Head back to Nghia Lo town where the lunch break is had. If the time permits, pay a visit to Suoi Giang Ecopark, a part of Hong Lien Son national park, home of ancient green tea where you can walk around to explore the special green tea of Vietnam. Next place is the Hoc village with the hot-stream where travellers can stop to enjoy a bath in natural hot-water of stream.
Arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon where your trekking Mu Cang Chai Tour wraps up. From the beautiful rice terrace fields to colourful hill tribe exploration of H’Mong ethnic group, you have seen the best of Mu Cang Chai. Laid back until your private transfer will ferry you to the airport where you will catch your return flight home.
